Project: "What would I need a God for?!
Conversations with non-believers and apostates"

I am looking for interviewees on the topic of atheism and religion.

Many people cannot imagine life without god / religion / church. It begins with a religious education and ends with people who “actually” do not believe in god anymore, still marrying in church or – to be on the safe side – remaining church members in order to escape eventual doom in hell or at least to avoid social and/or economic disadvantages as, lacking alternatives, they are employed in ecclesiastical kindergartens or hospitals. In the media the representatives of the main churches are granted a great deal of space, although meanwhile there are more undenominationals in Germany than are catholics or protestants. This distorted picture may lead to those doubtful or non-believers reckoning they were an isolated exception – especially when they are living in strongholds of the church such as Cologne or rural regions.
